Each year, over 250 influential philanthropic powerhouses, celebrities, foundation professionals and cultural leaders gather at Hearst Tower in NYC for the T&C Philanthropy Summit. Over the past decade, the T&C Philanthropy Summit has established itself as the premiere multi-platform content series to showcase the time, energy and funding priorities of notable social and celebrity figures—including Ayesha Curry, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Garner Lin-Manuel Miranda, UNICEF, Carnegie Hall and the Smithsonian—willing to use their platform to shine a light on how philanthropy is crucial to help address major societal issues.

Town & Country has a decades-long track record of highlighting the philanthropic priorities and works of influential cultural leaders in its pages.


The 11th annual Town and Country Philanthropy Summit will take place in October 2024.

The Eco-Conscious Living Summit, a partnership between magazines and brands, is a commercial outgrowth of Hearst's commitment to highlight sustainable living held annually at Lincoln Center — the hub of culture and innovation.

Now in its fourth year, the Summit has live and digital components (garnering over 500 million impressions) that brings together companies, editors and influential thought leaders —including author and activist Chelsea Clinton and chef Marcus Samuelsson — to promote the products and actions contributing to renewable energy, waste reduction and ethical consumerism.

Hearst Magazines invests in sustainable focused content throughout the year. In the US, Hearst eco-friendly content garnered an average time spent of 3:26 minutes, 10% longer than the benchmark.

The next summit will take place in April 2025.

In 2024, Women’s Health with support from CosmopolitanPrevention, and Oprah Daily crafted the Women's Health lab to delve deep into the major issues affecting women’s health outcomes every day. In partnership with Northwell’s Katz Institute for Women’s Health, the Health Lab featured influential speakers including Dr. Jill Biden on the tangible effects of women’s health being understudied and underfunded has on women’s lives; Chelsea Clinton on maternal health; Nancy Brown, CEO of the American Heart Association on prioritizing cardiovascular health at every stage of life; and more.

The next Women’s Health Lab will be
in May 2025, there will also be a first annual Men’s Health Lab in June 2025

The Female Force
On October 17, 20204, Hearst Magazines and HearstLab partnered for the first annual Female Force Summit, leveraging the power of Cosmopolitan, Women's Health and Harper's Bazaar to celebrate women's economic empowerment.

External corporate partners — from advertisers to emerging brands —have approached Hearst about how they can demonstrate their championship of women-owned businesses, which in the U.S. accounts for over 13 million businesses (42% of U.S. companies) generating $1.8 trillion annually.

The Summit includes Hearst Magazines editors and HearstLab funded companies (several of which have reached unicorn status), and covers hard hitting topics around funding, mentorship, and the other missing elements that are needed to jump start a sustainable women-owned business ecosystem.
